My bestie has a new boyfriend and she's so happy and I love that she's happy.

But he's over liiiiiiiterally every night, he stays the weekend, he even canceled guys night tonight to hang out with her and I'm just tired of it. I'd like to be able to talk to my bestie. Spend time with my bestie. It's so frustrating because I get that she's got a hot thing going on and I don't want to interfere but at the same time I've managed to talk to her for thirty minutes in the last two weeks when we used to talk almost every night and it makes me feel lonely and a bit abandoned. I wouldn't expect her to talk every night or anything while she's dating but... like... I don't feel like wanting more than 30 minutes of her time in two weeks is asking too much. :/

Tbh it's making me resent this dude and I haven't even met him yet. Which the makes me feel bad for being grumpy but I just miss my bestie?

I don't blame you; that suuuuuucks.

My bestie from school is no longer my bestie, because she elevates any guy over her friends. She was like that as a teenager, but I thought she'd grow out of it. Newsflash, she did not, and she's 50. I'm married, too, but I find time to at least chat on the phone with friends!

I don't know that this will help you but whenever this happens with my bestie, I am very explicit about what I want? like "hey i feel like I haven't gotten time to spend with just us, can we do X at Y o' clock just you and me?"
