Not that I ship them in particular, but I gotta admit that pairing sounds even hotter assuming neither of them are gay, if that makes any sense. Then again i do have a fetish for straight boys "experimenting with each other...

Lol, well I can understand that, too. I've looked into some James/Severus just because Severus is my favorite character so I've tried to read most pairings involving him, but the only marauder I can actually see him ever forgiving is Remus, and the majority of people write these other marauder pairings as somehow ~secretly in love~ which feels wrong for me, just based on my interpretations of the characters.

But randy teenage boys getting all hot and bothered with each other, even though they hate each other and actually aren't gay... that I could enjoy. (I also kind of hate when people assume this doesn't happen, I mean I'm sure some straight teenage boys don't experiment, but I had mostly male friends in high school and although only one or two of them were actually gay, I can only think of one that didn't experiment with other boys, so... totally plausible imho! Not all straight boys only ever get handsy with girls.)
