I just wanted to get it off my chest, because yes, my friend is a lot taller, her Sebastian is going to be her height and I don't know. It seems ridiculous but no matter how me and another of our group put it, we can't seem to make her understand.
I sew all the costumes, usually she does the props, so when she took Ciel from me, I knew I'd have to be sewing a costume I want to wear and that sucks.
Right now, everytime I try to find another way around it ["I'll wear a different outfit!"] she'll figure out how that "doesn't work" ["I like that one too!"].
We decided to split the group after numerous issues [at 5'0 my characters are limited, Undertaker? I looked for huge boots but nearly broke my ankle in a pair. Dagger? I wanted someone else to be from the Circus arc with me.] my boyfriend decided to give up Grell [Which is lol in the first place] and be MY Sebastian and she can be Ciel with her Sebastian.
At 5'9, my boyfriend's certainly going to be loads taller than me...
She's stomped her feet and said "He'd be a better Grell!" and tried to change our views like we tried to change hers, she's failed.

You should have told her how you felt, that you really wanted to be Ciel, instead of sitting on your feelings.
But honestly? Why would you even want to cosplay with someone like that? I sure wouldn't.
