The art style is something I can stomach and actually like watching people play this, but boy when it's superimposed onto other media (like the main artist and the one who draws similarly drew for Fate Grand Order cards) it highlights how I do NOT like it otherwise

I completely agree with all of this! Especially not liking it when the artist designs characters for other media like FGO. Cleopatra and Edmond Dantes stick out like a sore thumb against all the other designs(even the ones not designed or influenced by Takeuchi fit in better), and I think the designs are kinda bad.

Edmond Dantes in particular has one of the worst designs in the game in my opinion. His design doesn’t look much better in the anime adaptation of Final Singularity Solomon either. Which is frustrating, because he’s not going to be just an easily ignored cameo. The character is well-written, but I hate looking at him and his stupid Komaeda hair!

Jesus, I thought that Danganronpa's art style was just limited to the game, or maybe it was a Spike Chunsoft thing. Feels uncanny to see it played straight in FGO like that!
