Yeah, they loved her on SNL and they basically see it as "well, the just left SNL for her baby, and now she's turning around and doing SOMETHING ELSE!" (god forbid she does more with her career than just SNL). I did like her on SNL, but of course the rest of the cast is great.
Maybe other people don't see it nearly as much as some sort of "betrayal" that my friends seem to, but it seems like all the people I know irl that I've mentioned it to are at least a little upset about it.

As bummed as I am, she was at SNL a long time and you know, people move on. Eight years is good enough, that's one of the longer tenures anyway! And the rest of the cast is great, love 'em. I'm just bummed that she's not on Update anymore (Seth is fantastic and I love him to death but he's a little messed up now.)

Kind of weird that people are looking at it that way. I just miss her on the show, but don't feel betrayed or anything.
