Clearly there's no real reason for our ship to exist other than the pretty. (BTW...I've found Mylar fans to be some of the coolest, most interesting writers I know. LOL, I wondered if anyone was going to go through the nominations and try to figure it out.

Clearly there's no real reason for our ship to exist other than the pretty.

Actually, you've "bragged" about this before, and linked to the story yourself. You're really proud of yourself about this, clearly.

Did you ever think that maybe the Mylar fandom were just trying to be nice? Encouraging a new writer? They're nice people. There's also the concept of being "fake nice" in comments. I don't believe most of the comments I get on fics. People are nice to their friends, and to people they think are new to the fandom.
