But yeah, DC loves replacing characters. It sometimes ends up with the replaced characters being massively screwed over(like Hal Jordan, although I don’t really care for him personally anyway). But in cases like Kon, they’re just trying to faze him out. In both cases, they don’t care that fans don’t like this.

I’m still salty over the writer who screwed over Wally West all those years ago, because he was a boomer who didn’t want anyone else besides Barry Allen to be the Flash. And it was right as the Young Justice cartoon came out and made Wally more mainstream popular than ever. DC didn’t care for years until they undid the decision.

I just hate how DC treats the younger, frequently former sidekick characters as disposable like this. Kon deserves so much better!
