God Bless This Mess. I hate the majority of fandom in a deep, seething way. You're privy to this information simply because we talk like, every day. But the singular people of the fandom are pretty alright, if you ignore that A hates B because B likes C and C burned A's friend, D.

It's a shit pile, but gosh darn it, it's my favorite shit pile.

Singular people of most fandoms are rockin'. I never managed to find too many in this one. Mainly because the sheer amount of douchebaggery put me off of looking. :P

That and I recruited my girlfriend and her brother, which results in more entertainment value than any fanfic could EVER stand up to...

I won't argue that the wank is offputting, but DAMN some of these people are talented. Some are great at visual art, some are amazing at writing, some of the people are good at being cheerleaders, and some are good at being moral support.
The downside to this is that the majority of us, myself included, are hot tempered maniacs or simply whiny bitches. Hallo, oddly enough, is neither of these. She's possibly the most relaxed name in the fandom, and when she gets shit on, she laughs it off and keeps going. She doesn't do this for popularity, or for fake friends. She does it because she likes it. She feels bad about things when people get offended. She feels exasperated when shit like this comes up. But she keeps going. That's admirable in itself.


And I won't argue that. Getting RL people into something is superfun.

yeah, that is why I get ticked when Hallo is dumped on. She has done nothing to earn such shit.

Some of us have an idea who is behind these attacks. At least Hallo is pretty sure who it is. We'll just give her support until the trolls go back into their cave and then keep an eye out for the next time.
