Srsly? There's not much more to tell, yet; I only started writing MGS fanfic right around Christmas and I am sure it will bulk out in time. The rest is mostly things that just 'sound right' - White Roses by Information Society, The Hymn Of The Big Wheel by Massive Attack. A recording of the Fantasia Baetica because Fox likes it and I think in my headcanon it's something Gustava used to skate to. Mortal City by Dar Williams because it just seems like a really Otacon-like love story and I have a horrible feeling that if I ever start writing Snake/Otacon fanfic (which I bet I will) I'd be looping it constantly just for the rhythm. [Bad username or site: lucia tanaka @ livejournal.com] once talked about Naomi dragging Ani DiFranco into her headcanon - in my case it was Alanis Morissette. I like Mary Jane, not least because Naomi means 'sweet'; The Couch, meanwhile, has infested the entirety of MGS4 part 3, a line here, a line there.
And I sekritly think that if any of the characters had been fans of the Afro Celt Sound System canon would never have happened.

I don't have an MGS playlist per-se, but I do have a few music score tracks as well as some of the songs (like the James Bond theme pastiche and 'Say goodbye to yesterday'). The more recent MGS4 music really had a strong effect on me, especially the 'Old Snake' track.. it may have had something to do with an overdose on in-game cut scenes.
