Did laundry (4 loads), ran errands, played with my kitty, listened to a bunch of music on Youtube. I've got a bad sinus headache right now, and my brother-in-law is here, so I'm hiding out in my room until dinner with a heating pad.

I think we're having bratwurst and latkes for dinner.

I could go for some bratwurst and latkes right now, but your brother-in-law sounds tiresome. Best of luck to you and the kitty.

Also, just as a heads up -- I found out recently that what I always assumed/was told were sinus headaches are actually migraines triggered by weather changes (something to do with barometric pressure). Finding that out changed how I dealt with them and made them a little easier to manage.

I totally get migraines too, and more often than sinus headaches. I can usually tell the difference. In this case, pretty sure sinus because my face is stuffy from allergies. Feels like I have weights under my eyes.

You know your own headaches best. My family told me for years that the stabbing pain in my eye socket during allergy season was sinus headaches, and it wasn't until I was out on my own that I found out that they were migraines and that allergy season is also storms and wildly fluctuating barometric pressure season. I've run into a few others that have the same issue, so I figured I'd put it out there.

I totally get that. I used to make that mistake too. I used to think all my headaches were sinus. Now I know that I get sinus, migraines, and tension headaches and that they all manifest with different symptoms that I can usually tell apart.

My main two migraine triggers are weather and hormones, so the past summer has been a trip.

that is no fun, I'm sorry. Those are two of mine as well, plus chocolate, cheese, alcohol, MSG, and lack of sleep.

Just lying in bed being pissed off that my health prevents me from doing anything I actually want or need to do. Gotta get up long enough to feed the pets their dinner though, and soft bunny nose-bonks against my ankles is worth the pain it often is.

Indeed, those nose bonks... I don't know why it's so endearing feeling a fuzzy little bunny nose bonk. Kinda like a little kid poking their parent repeatedly to get their attention, but tinier and fluffy. :D

my dishwasher is acting wonky, it turns itself off before finishing and I have to push the door to get it to turn back on again. I don't see the point in calling maintenance because I called them to fix something else and they never showed up. Last year.

Not much. I was going to go to the grocery store but my car is in the shop. (The down side of having a car that's almost 30 years old is that sometimes parts are hard to source so they take a bit.)

I'm working from home this week so it's not worth spending the money to rent a car.
