How difficult is Hades? It looks good and I'd like to try it, but I'm kinda bad at video games.

Is it possible to get completely stuck when you suck at it too much? Or can you always grind enough to just bust your way through the game? That's how I beat Rogue Legacy, lol. I didn't get the patterns of the bosses so much as I just grinded till I was way over-powered.

I don't think I officially made any resolutions for the year. That said, I did want to set up a Poshmark account to sell some of my unused stuff, and maybe try flipping some thrifted stuff, and I accomplished that. I even made a decent chunk of change from the endeavor.

Also, something I've been making resolutions to do for two decades is fix my utterly fucked up sleep cycle. Then in 2020 I discovered I had a circadian rhythm disorder and that's why my sleep cycle is so fucked, and why I've never been able to fix it. But in 2021 I talked to a sleep specialist and got prescribed a medication, and I've now been getting up at 9:00 AM every day for five months. It's a pretty huge change from my previous norm, which was 2:00 PM. So I'm going to count that as a resolution success.

My life is still, uh, kind of pathetic tbh. But in 2021 I've at least been doing a bit better so far.

I love this(!), but also I don't think I could do it myself. I'd be too worried someone who was mentally ill and paranoid would find it and it would really fuck them up.

Not to mention releases from other countries. Even if you're only interested in English versions, there might still be ones from England, Canada, Australia... Hell, sometimes they put up the English version in non-English speaking countries, although usually that's concert versions.

It's also a matter of the time people invest in looking at it. Reading even a short fic tends to take longer than just taking a glance at fanart, and if it sucks, people can feel kind of weirdly betrayed by having wasted even a fraction of their time.

Someone would have to be trying really hard to start shit to assume that you meant you're sad that Chris-Chan wasn't better at hiding the evidence. It's deeply unfortunate that a few people have recently decided that they're going to "save f!s" by bringing back the awesome troll-filled days of yore.

Hey thanks, I appreciate it. F!S claims to love nuance but when a post is not phrased the best, time to suppose I'm happy about rape happening! Especially with how often this sub complains about antis taking everything out of context, I'm (not) surprised that people would jump to outrage.

I just left a comment acknowledging that it was horrible to find out that the crime happened in the first place, but I guess that wasn't spicy enough for the drama-hungry, so here's this for the outrage-addicted: if you ever complained or will complain about antis, you just acted like antis twisting an innocuous statement just so you could get mad about it. Gross!

NAYRT - On some level the point of the game is to die and start over. Once you get used to dying a lot and not being mad about it, it's fun. There is a "god mode" describes as: "God Mode grants 20% damage resistance, increasing by 2% each time a run ends in death (rather than escape). The damage resistance caps at 80%. This mode was added to make the game more accessible, as well as to give players a way to experience the story of Hades more quickly if they wish." So there you go, hope you try it, it's lots of fun!
