I saved up for a doll, and it's more than paid for it's self in the amount of fabric I've saved on my hobby. I like to make costumes, and I can make them at a third scale, saving a ton on fabric and materials. He's also good for letting me make scale patterns for real people on a little bit of fabric and then size it up. I would have loved to have another doll with a different body shape, but yeah. The economy tanked and that's not feasible right now.
Not all of the doll people are crazy, just most of them. Not really sure why we get the disproportionally high level of nuts. *shrug*

(Anonymous) 2009-03-06 12:26 am (UTC)(link)Aaaanyway, I still stand by my sentiments. I mean, you collect expensive dolls as a hobby so you can play dress up with them/roleplay OCs with them/make photo stories of them, &etc. And you wonder why you get all the nutters??? Come on now.
