Eevee!

Bonus: my favorite eevee evolutions are Espeon, Sylveon, and Vaporeon.

I have one for every type.

I guess my all-time favourite is Mew, though. The gimmick of being able to learn every move (with a few exceptions) has always struck me as super cool.

My favourite non-legendaries are the Porygons.

Caterpie.

Farfetch'd. Been my favorite since I was a kid.

Galarian Rapidash, because it reminds me so much of my horse. Also, I just love Fairy types in general.

I was a little skeptical when Fairy was introduced but it really has a lot of great designs with it. The Ponyta line especially!

Houndoom, I just think it looks rad. Also the one I had in Pokemon Silver was a beast that ripped through everything, loved that fire/dark pupper.

A close second is Espeon because it's pretty much a psychic cat.

Oh how'd you get one to use in your Silver playthrough? I always want to use one but you only can get it in Kanto IIRC.

I got my dad, who'd finished his game, to catch and trade me a Houndoor so I could have one way sooner than you were meant to. So, not exactly playing by the rules. :P

3-way tie between Snorlax, Sudowoodo, and Bulbasaur

Oddish. Has been since Red.

It's just so... odd. It's a round, happy little root vegetable with feet. I don't know why I find it so endearing, you'd think I'd go for one of the bunny pokemon. (Not that I dislike the bunny pokemon, of course.)

Also a big fan of the Honedge family because that stuff's CREEPY.

I'm also a bunny person irl but you have to admit that the bunnies are useless. Except for Pikachu but it's not even supposed to be a bunny anyway - still it's got ears!

The only exception would be Cinderace. I rarely pick the fire starter (I'm the grass person downthread) but I just had to. A fire bunny! So cute!!

Articuno, I love how elegant it looks

Gengar. I love its design and it's viable when it comes to battles. Too bad I can't get one very easily. I would love to be able to evolve my own trained Haunter. I like Haunter too but it's too weak for battles.

I also have a soft spot for Pikachu (my very first pokémon!!) and Umbreon (the cutest eevolution ever and a very fine annoyer).

I also tend to like grass starters (Bulbasaur, Snivy and Rowlet especially) because they are incredibly cute but they are not as useful as the other types in combat. I'll probably pick the grass starter in Diamond since the games are much too easy nowadays and my starter is not going to matter much.

Klefki. IDK why but it's so fucking charming.

Sylveon! I love all Eeveelutions but Sylveon is just so pretty and has ribbons. I also really love Mimikyu and Alcremie, I've been playing since Gen I but somehow my faves are all in later games (I actually didn't even like Sun and Moon but Mimikyu is precious).
