143. I know! I love the new Annie and Mitchell so much I haven't looked at the pilot yet. Do they get the dorkiness? The marvelous dorky sweetness of IKEA hatred and sorority cuppa cuppa cuppa?

LOL! There's no dorkiness in the pilot, dude. Old!Mitchell took himself WAY too seriously, and old!Annie was a pathetic mess. The Annie we have now is vulnerable and needy and a victim in the beginning, certainly, but the way Lenora channels it is different, her need to be useful and putter around the kitchen and feel validated by those around her is more resonant. It's in her actions rather than on her face all the time, if that makes sense. Old!Annie was just whiny.

That makes me sad. What's great about Being Human is that in between Mitchell falling off the wagon, Annie's crippling self-esteem issues, and George's... oh George, I don't even know where to start... they're goofy flatmates who would be awesome to room with and literally squee because Mitchell was only IN CASABLANCA OMG!!!

They weren't dorky at all... :(

I felt like Guy was trying to hard to be cool as a vampire that he ends up being totally emotionless and boring, and Andrea was...like to spazzy or something. But while also being completely monotone. Although, I'm a bit biased because I didn't watch the pilot until later, so I had already fallen in love with Aiden, Lenora, and Russell's chemistries.

Bleh. Mitchell is one of the few vampires I actually like because he's a huge goofball (on his good days). And spazzy Annie doesn't seem right. What if she and George are startled at the same time?

Anarchy, that's what. One spaz at a time!
