I can't agree more. The original Canadian cast will always be my favorite, particularly Colm Wilkinson.

That version just makes me twitch a little every time I hear it. He's got this amazing voice and he's real age. Still, I always think of him as Valjean from Les Miserables. Also, his voice kind of shows his age. Regardless, he's got to be the best casting for Erik.

He's perhaps not my favorite voice for the part, but I did like the way he played it better than the rest.

I LOVE the Canadian Cast! Took me forever to get into it. But Rebecca Caine is my FAVOURITE Christine!

I'll agree, I absolutely love her voice for some reason.

I think she's a joy to talk to. I friended her on facebook. She has interesting stories, pictures AND theatre gossip! :)

CANADIAN CAST YES PLEASE. Personally, I'm still not too big on Wilkinson, but Rebecca Caine absolutely amazes me.

God yes. They're just awesome. Colm Wilkinson has the "creepy old guy" thing down, and Rebecca Caine actually sings opera when she's supposed to be. Thank god. ^____^
