(Anonymous) 2021-11-13 01:50 am (UTC)(link)And if you watched SPN, you'll see this show makes a lot more sense when you learn Erik Kripke is behind it. Is it incredibly thoughtful and deep? No. Does it aim to be? Maybe. I'd argue they aim for it as much as an edgy comic can aim for finesse. But it's a fun show if you get into it. It features a lot of the bureaucracy that goes behind creating a "brand" for superheroes. It's appealing to a lot of people in the same way Marvel and DC movies are. But i don't blame you for not getting through season 1.
