Better production values? Despite debuting in the 90s OG B5 looked like it was filmed in 1983.

Sort of related to this, I seem to recall there was a movie called Arena in... 1988? about a fighting match set on a space station where Claudia Christian played a sort of fight promoter/trainer in space. In my head that's part of the B5 universe.

It also has Armin Shimerman and Marc Alaimo in it too, so DS9/B5 crossover, confirmed? Arena is also totally the exact same plot as the B5 episode TKO though, and nobody wants to remember TKO.
