I worry about this place's reactionary tendencies towards trans people and where that mindset tends to lead.

You do understand the difference between a real and a fictional trans character, right?

Nowhere does it imply they don’t. Why is that your only takeaway? They mean how this secret(and the wank that had been going on before this secret any time trans people were mentioned) might represent the communities views and leanings on trans people in general.

Personally, I don’t think FS is a transphobic community. I think there’s a few transphobes and trolls who are the same people each time, and aren’t emblematic of the community as a whole at all. Just like it’s probably the same couple of people who accuse everyone(especially Case) of being transphobic with no basis, and how these people don’t represent the community either.

But even though I feel this way, and thus disagree with AYRT, I still get what they’re trying to say.
