In our experience (and the way we use it), "fictive" usually refers to a member of a plural system whose primary identity is modeled on a preexisting fictional character, while a person (singlet or plural) who... don't know how to put this in a definition-y way, someone who started off as just a person but later realized they were also a character? People like that tend to call themselves "fictionkin".

Both can range from "I literally remember living in this world and experiencing events both depicted by canon and not" to "*points* hey it me".

And of course, words are fake and anyone can say what they want whether it aligns with what we said above or not.
