(Anonymous) 2021-11-16 11:41 am (UTC)(link)Anon was just pointing out that Ginny was framed a little like a sister before she was his love interest, compared to some people in fandom comparing her to his mother as a way of pretending the ship is incest. They weren’t actually saying Ginny was enough of a sister to make it “incest”, but of course AYRT had to take the least charitable and most literal reading of anon’s comment. You’d think the “more like” in their comment would give away that it was a comparison, not a statement that she’s his actual sister.
