Huh, I'm (or, I was, I guess? I haven't watched Criminal Minds since, like, season 7) the opposite. I hated the way SVU was, especially when it had AngerIssues McI-Need-To-Stop-Committing-Police-Brutality. The few episodes I caught with my parents when he was gone were better, but they were less humanizing and more preachy a lot of times.

Maybe I just found I liked the agents in criminal minds better than the detectives in SVU, but there also were things connected to how the presentation was that I can't articulate well

I wrote a PWP, edited it, and posted it in a matter of like 24 hours and I forever regret writing in Character A guessing the exact inches of Character B's cock. I'm too embarrassed to go back and edit it because just seeing the text makes me cringe.

I write imagines in hopes that it will give me fics I want. I've never thought of people giving my imagines credit for the inspiration?? Like, I wrote the imagine because I was too lazy to write a fic.

When a third party supplier advises a client that they advise a method of maintenance performance on supplied parts, but cannot order them to do it that way and they must use their own judgement even if there is a way that is theoretically cheaper. They mean if you do it in the cheaper way then you are 100% gonna be sued by the end user, and they want no part of that lawsuit. It is pretty much the closest that a third party supplier can come to screaming that you are being an idiot right into the client's face. So, anyway, the company I work for is being sued by one of our customers and you'll never guess why.

I think...SVU doesn't show the actual crime. I find myself rarely worrying that the potential victim won't be saved in time.

I remember Mandy Patenkin stated that he left CM because the writers seemed to be enjoying the violence too much.

I realized while Mindhunter is basically a spiritual prequel to Criminal Minds, it doesn't scare or upset me as much. Because the crimes are so far in the past that the ones based on real life, are already solved. Many of the bad guys they interact with are already in prison for life, while there's a ton of graphic discussion we don't see the murders in action.
