Probably not evil, but I hate that my family always hosts Thanksgiving and Christmas. We try to do potluck style, but only one relative brings food while everyone else brings empty Tupperware, and nobody helps with the cleanup. Why can’t we dirty up someone else’s house for a change?

You should totally institute a rule that people who don't bring any food don't get to take any home (and maybe don't get to eat that meal either).

Assign people food, like "Janet, you're bringing mashed potatoes," and "Jeff, you're in charge of gravy and corn," (or whatever) and do NOT make these dishes.

Let them get pissed at each other while you eat ham.

And have a KFC potatoes and gravy and corn side dish bonanza hidden elsewhere to enjoy when they leave.
