128 - Agreed. Even though I'm more than willing to read both characters paired up with other people (depending on the person, however - I never did like Dick/Starfire because I could never stand Starfire herself), at the end of the day that is my favorite DC pairing. I was extremely upset at how they just dismissed their engagement after they decided not to kill Nightwing off afterall. *sigh*

E/R is definitely awesome! The complaint is a general one about people who are too snooty about fic not being 'realistic' enough - and sometimes I want to hit them on the head with a (hardcover) version of Les Mis until they admit that people CAN write good stories with stereotypical characters. Not because people says that E/R itself isn't realistic enough.

Okay yeah because I love their relationship and how sometimes it is sort of realistic if written /right/, because they're very stereotypical characters, yes, but not impossible ones, and...I'm babbling.

Yeah, realism and happy fandomy funtimes don't always need to mix, anyway, and it's not always /fun/ to read realistic things. That's..what I have a life for. ._.
