105. I agree so very much. And that has to be one of the worst lines... But I read it anyway, because I really like the art. I just wish the artist would make something with an actual plot...

116. Well, yes, I mean all British people are so educated with their fancy clothes and top hats and tea with biscuits, pip pip wot wot, etc.

I'm American, and sadly, I must agree with this secret. It saddens me how stupid (most) people in this country can be - and they're the ones upon whom other countries' impressions of us are based.

(I'll spare anecdotes, to avoid wandering off topic.)

And by this rant, I don't mean "America = fail", I mean "fellow Americans, you can do better...right?"

The people in Britain are probably just as dumb, there are just less of them to complain about.

Okay, you just cracked me up. And you are right, the bigger the population, the more morons you are likely to run into. The whole population of the UK is the equivalent to the population of just California and Texas. We have 48 more states to worry about. That's a lot more villages with their idiots.

I don't know who you hang around with but most folks I meet are fairly intelligent.

I definitely disagree. We have more stupid people, but that's because we have more people in general. They're often a very vocal group, which is why some people think we're all stupid, but that's certainly not true.

Thanks so much for that huge boost in self esteem. You really make me happy to live in a land of apologists, especially since I spend most of my time thinking "wow, I suck so much, I hope everyone's okay with it"...

Hmmmmm, how about parents in the US bringing young children to see R-rated movies and then complaining about the violence, sex scenes and blue penis featured in said movie?

I'm so glad we have a different rating system in the UK and Ireland, in the UK the movie's an 18 and in Ireland its a 16 and no-one under those ages are allowed in full stop.

Oh, and a US online media outlet carried a story about a woman who upon spotting a store placard that stated "children must be kept under control" decided to throw a tantrum about the placard and throw cans of food at the manager.

We have our fair share of morons over here though, hordes of the lowing masses are lapping up the story of Jade Goody's final hours, spare me please
