135. Lol, fandom is serious business as always. As a fandom butterfly, I don’t really see the problem with it. A show or book or manga or wtfever never just ‘deserves’ fans—it has to have a hook that will keep the person with it for the long run. If people leave the fandom, then it means they’re not seeing that hook anymore. Just my humble opinion.

(Anonymous) 2009-03-08 12:44 am (UTC)(link)And to everybody who might be reading, one of my hobbies is watching foreign films (mostly downloaded from the Internet, bad self!), subtitles and all, but tend to keep quiet about it (on- or off-line) to avoid accusations of elitism (OMG you read the subtitles /and/ watch the movie?!).

You only get accused of elitism if the foreign films are in a language other than English.
