It is possible to be a feminist. One can also be a douche.

But really, if you want people to actually listen to what you are saying and not just write you off as someone who takes fandom so seriously, they need to get a new hobby - don't be a feminist douche.

And I don't consider myself to be this kind of feminist mainly because of people like you with your bitching and dictating. Isn't the point of feminism that women are supposed to be empowered enough to make up their own damn minds without other women judging them and telling them what they're supposed to think and do?

Being a feminist doesn't mean believing women are always right and perfect. It means believing they are equal. And as such, equally deserving of their own insults. If the OP were a man, I might say his secret was kind of dickish. But all things being equal, and if OP is a woman, I would feel incredibly justified (and still a feminist) when I say it is bitchy.

Wait, the point of feminism is to free women from being judged by other women? Funny, I thought it was to combat centuries of legal oppression of women by men, and for women to have equal legal, professional, and social rights to men.
