“Bland face”? Unnecessarily rude. Also, a face can’t be “bland”, no matter how unremarkable you think a person looks. Because “bland” isn’t an adjective that applies to physical appearance.

One of several meanings of bland is “dull or uninteresting”, which certainly can be used to describe appearance. Did you think the word was only used to describe your mother’s cooking?

“Dull” and “uninteresting” also really aren’t used to describe appearances, so you didn’t make much of a counterpoint. Maybe if someone is basing what they think a person’s personality is based on the appearance, sure. But for physical features? Most people would just say something like “plain”.

Whatever. "Plain" does not have the same emotional weight for me. Plain is person who is not really interesting to look at, maybe a bit mousy.
TS's style is deliberate both in music and in her public persona. She is a marvel movie in human form: safe, somewhat pretty, but not too pretty, good singing, but not too risky. She is bland

I was talking about face mostly because I somehow always see her in my twitter feed despite doing everything in my power, that's so frustrating!
