105. Nah, not really. Honestly, slash did absolutely nothing for me when I was a teenager. It's only crazy-recently that I've started liking a few ships, and even then, they're usually not between particularly hot guys. If slash isn't your cup of tea, it isn't your cup of tea. It's not any more sexist than saying that any other relationship-dynamic doesn't work for you.
113. Honestly, the last episode I watched, years ago, had such a strong Jules/Lassie vibe that it's part of the reason I stopped watching--I knew they wouldn't go down that road, and I really wanted them to. They pounded fists and all.
Besides, Lassie deserves some happiness. Sean's just an unpleasant prick.

127. Man, I know the feeling. I'm supposed to like that comic for the plot and the phenomenal crafstmanship put into it by Moore and Gibbons. And I do. And I know that Rorschach, while appealling to every fangirl out there, is actually a dirty, smelly, kook, and is quite ugly in the comics, so much so that his shrink actually comments on it.
But I thought he was actually very attractive. Or, rather, that he looked like someone who would clean up nice. I'm a sucker for red-heads. He had nice eyes. And there's something so blessedly adorable about a guy that short in that particular outfit.
But. Not pining. No, no pining will happen here. He's just Rorschach. He's wicked cool, everyone knows that. I will not fangirl Rorshach and lose all my self-respect.

142. Heh. Blue Beetle FTW. Stick around. It's not nearly as anime as it used to be. I think F!S moves in phases, but there's always that chance of a secret that's so totally what you wanted to say.

164. Aw. I love that about characters like that. They may be fictional, but sometimes, they help us be strong.
168. As a Zutaran who doesn't care for Mai, I have to wonder why anyone would bash them. They created a gorgeous work of art, and even had oodles of things done just to please or amuse fans of all persuasions (c'mon, the "tiny Zuko" moments were just such fun playful teases at our side).
