Basically, it got to the scene where Zuko is saving Katara's like and they go "Wow, Zuko nearly sacrificed his life for Katara, then she goes off and runs to another guy. *Laugh* Zutarians" (emphasis mine and I'm sure I'm paraphrasing). Yes, they stopped laughing at the ship and took a stab at the shippers. That is crossing the line and it is horrid.

And really, some Zutarians are crazy. Really, undeniably crazy. They were most likely laughing at those. Which I do too - they're fuckin' stupid. If you're not one of them - cool man. But I really think it seems like you're taking the whole thing to heart.

You got people accusing others/the creators of being PEDOPHILES for liking Kataang. The fuck? That's just crazy, and it definitely needs to be called out.

never really seen any kataangers say stupid shit outside of IT'S CANON SO YOU MUST SHIP IT but then again i pretty much avoid every section of the avatar fandom except the jet/zuko comm.

the zutarians that say it's promoting pedophilia are stupid, but i've seen convincing arguments against kataang by decent fans.
