There are a lot of really good fics out there for Sakura/Kakashi... out of the many couples I've come across in Naruto (and, seriously, I ship lots in Naruto) their fanbase comes closest to breaking (if they have not) the 99% of fanfics are crap rule AND having a lot of fics to read from. There are certain writers out there that write mainly or only for that pairing who do extremely well.

I'd suggest looking up SilverShine, leafygirl, sakura_haru, and ronsmyhero on ff.net... definitely SilverShine tho'. I could recommend you many stories to read, but those 4 write quite a bit KakaSaku, and they seem like a good place to start out. Seriously, they've converted me to being mainly a KakaSaku fan and not having Sakura shipped with anyone else.

I'm fairly new to the Naruto fandom myself. What pairings do you like? Know of any good fics you'd recommend for them? I'm always on the lookout for good fic, and I'm also compiling a list :D

Recommendations? Well, I have several pairing that I like, and they seem to change over time as to which ones I'm more obsessed with. I'll respond to your response several times each one listing different couples.

First off, Kakashi/Sakura!

- All fics by SilverShine are amazing, but these are my favorites of hers. Duty Before Honor was her first multi-chapter KakaSaku fic and what made her famous (3086 reviews on just that fic!). House of Crows is the one she's currently working on, and she updates about once every two weeks or so. Between the three, Seven Days is her most light-hearted (and I love the humor in it), however, all her stories portray the couple realistically and I like how she makes them so kick ass and yet human and flawed at the same time.

- Another big well-know name in the KakaSaku fandom is leafygirl. She has written many other KakaSaku fics other than these, and she has also written some good ItaSaku fics (and one NejiSaku which isn't finished). Fated is her angst-filled tragedy fic, so don't read unless if you're ready to shed a few tears. The Nature of the Game has Anbu!Sakura who has a lot of pent-up anger and frustration on the inside. Both fics have some SasuSaku mixed in the fray but are ultimately KakaSaku. Nature of the Game features my favorite characterization of Sakura - the sarcastic, quick-talking medical researcher who gets thrown on her ass into many embarrassing/awkward situations... the most light-hearted of her fics.

- ronsmyhero likes to write a lot of sex-energized Sakura and Kakashi fanfiction, so if you want some loving of UST go visit her stories. Her Sakura is also always kick-ass, which I definitely love. She now mainly writes Sai/Sakura (which I now like as well), however, she still updates Beautiful Fighter at random intervals.

Fourteen Dates (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3273388/1/Fourteen_Dates) by sakura haru (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1124109/) - She writes quite a bit of KakaSaku fanfiction as well, but this is my favorite of hers. She's writing a popular, ongoing fic now, A Book of Five Rings, that you might enjoy as well. I enjoy it, but it's not a fave.

Of course, any KakaSaku stories favorited by any of these writers I list are also good ones to check out!

Saving Grace (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2783471/1/Saving_Grace) by Minnionette - The fic can be very confusing at first since the perception of things are totally screwy (re summary: Sakura misplaces her sanity), however, half of the fun of it is figuring out WTF is going on. Includes KibaSaku as well... or rather Kiba/anything that breathes.

The Way of the Shinobi (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3424573/1/The_Way_of_the_Shinobi) by neela - Angsty short story that still manages to find a happy ending.

Questions (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3348566/1/Questions) by desert anbu - Funny short story that only inferences KakaSaku, but is still a great read. Basically, Naruto asks Sakura a question that is improper to ask a lady yet Sakura still responds with TMI.

The Art of Therapy (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3053134/6/The_Art_of_Therapy) by imiwayume - An awesome fic involving the tug-of-wills between two very stubborn people.

Tempered Shift (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2678911/19/Tempered_Shift) by Aliora - A really kick-ass fic that has sadly been abandoned! The story has great development, so I'd still recommend it, however, it will probably not get updated again (and it feels like it's nearing the end... she cut it off just prematurely).

To Feel (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2764075/1/To_Feel) - This was actually my first foray into the KakaSaku realm several years ago, and, unlike most KakaSaku fics, she's younger in this... not 13-year-old young but neither 18-year-old adult, so if that squicks you out, avoid it. Also, it features emo!angst!Sakura with many depressing situations. It isn't my favorite KakaSaku story, however, I always thought the ending was intriguing and so I kept it.

Likening (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2194688/1/Likening) - Angsty story from Kakashi's POV. Not so much KakaSaku shipping, but as friendly mentor/student relationship.

Letters of Yesterday (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3139220/1/Letters_of_Yesterday) by kakashidiot - I really like this one, but I can't say too much without giving away a major plotpoint (which you'll probably pick up in the first chapter). Anyways, it is absolutely adorable and I definitely recommend reading it!
