That's a fair point and you're totally right.

Although actually, looking it up, Adam Driver hasn't really done any blockbuster stuff other than Star Wars, so he's maybe kind of an exception to this - most of the stuff he's done has been with prestige directors. It's lots of Baumbach, Jarmusch, Soderbergh. Kind of an interesting career.

I waver on him being an exception because he was on Girls, which was def prestige but was still TV, when he signed onto Star Wars. Technically that was his first big leading role, rather than the supporting and bit parts (or leading but indie films) he'd had otherwise. But I agree, in his filmography Star Wars sticks out.
