Re: Ever change your mind on a ship?

Honestly, the Drarry fandom is still surprisingly active. Maybe not like back in the day, but there are a lot of great writers who either are currently writing for the ship or wrote for the ship as recently as a couple of years ago.

I don't think I would've even gotten into the ship if I'd tried reading fic for it back when the books were still coming out. The real breakthrough for me came when I realized the majority of the fics for it are post-series and focus on who the characters become after the war and what their post-war struggles look like. I fucking love that.

Mid-canon Drarry doesn't really work for me, for myriad reasons, but post-canon Drarry suddenly opens up and has so much more room to be worked with.
