My god, this. Most of the women in WOT are genuinely insufferable. Always angry, always pushy and uncompromising. Unrealistically abrasive. And it's been a long while but I can't remember the text ever taking them to task for it, with the glaring acception of Nynaeve who is the original bitch and noted as such as if its some kind of unique trait when Jordan then went on to write every single female character as Nynaeve with different hair colors. I actually quit reading around the tenth book because I was so tired of it. And some of the sexual encounters (most initiated by the women) had rapey overtones or at least dubious consent. Side note- lot of sex scenes for a series that pretty exclusively faded to black. Why bother making it such a focal point? Ah, WoT...
