I hate how rampant this is across fandoms. Seriously, this "it's pedo!!!11" shit has got to stop. I won't even apologize for being pedantic anymore, it's just fucking stupid. And fucking wrong. I just wish they would quit making up shit (like those mysteriously increasing age gaps) just because they're personally uncomfortable with a ship. If they don't like the ship, that's cool! They don't have to justify it to anyone else, for any reason. And they also don't have to attack others who are just having fun, because it's just fiction, not some gateway drug to the real version of whatever perceived crimes they believe are being committed here.

Yup. When I see someone being accused of "pedophilia" it means nothing to me anymore, because 9 times out of 10 in fandom it's just somebody who drew the "wrong" anime characters kissing. Which means we've got a Boy Who Cried Wolf situation when it comes to real predators.
