Again, I don't know what movies you were watching, because this isn't even a skewed take on canon, it's just plain wrong.

It’s really not objectively wrong. It’s debatable, but easy to see what AYRT means. A big problem with the MCU to me, phase one at least, is that so many actions feel like “This is the right thing to do because Steve or Tony or another character want to do”.
