Don't start with shit about how he's a rapist and a terrible guy, they're all murderers and sociopaths and terrible guys. That's the fucking point of the story.

I dunno. Dan was a thoughtful, if somewhat ineffective, lover. Dr. Manhattan was a bad boyfriend because of his disconnect, but he wasn't violent towards Laurie. Ozymandias and Rorschach don't seem like the types to even be interested in women one way or another.

Yeah, they all had their faults (some more than others), but if we're talking sex, the Comedian is probably the worst candidate for any sort of relationship.

Well, since when does sexual attraction have to equal a relationship?

Who someone is =/= their physical looks. I think Blake is hot as hell, too. It doesn't mean I believe he'd make a good date or that he's a decent human being.

And he never actually rapes her! And Sally seemed to love him/care for him at least...

Didn't he? I know in the movie it was implied that he didn't get to start with the actual penetration but the comic seemed like it was pretty obvious he was doing it.

This exactly. In what way does the Comedian having not been able to rape her make him a good guy, or take away from the fact that's he's a sexist asshole and WOULD HAVE raped her hadn't he been stopped? Not to mention that he did sexually harass and insult her, as well as practically beating her to a pulp.

Doesn't matter if he actually did it or not. The point is that he attemped to, and had every intention to. Sorry, still a horrible human being.

Just because it was a theme in the story doesn't make him A-OKAY. I understand there was more to him than douchebaggery but I can't respect anyone who plays down his actions because they think he's "hot and badass".
