take it to comments - That secret made my day, too. I'm not even that into Oberstein, I was just happy to see a LoGH secret on F!S. I wish more people had the attention span to watch the series (I wish the novels were in English, because there are a lot of people I know who would love the series if only it wasn't an anime -- not that it's like other anime, but still).

116 Even though I like that anime as well, I don't think it's the best written anime ever. Even compared to other Shoji Kawamori works, it's pretty imperfect.

153 You know, I was bawling at that scene when I saw it in the movie, and I was so embarrassed because I didn't really like the movie all that much (there's nothing wrong with it, I was just never a big fan). I guess because of the relationship I have with my father. I'm the oldest of four girls and he raised us like he would've raised sons (he would never admit it to me, but I think he was disappointed he never actually had a son), making us do yard chores, play sports, etc. And I always pushed myself really hard because I felt like he'd be disappointed in me otherwise, so I guess that scene struck a chord with me. I know this isn't really related... but I don't know, I guess I just felt like sharing that.
