Hey, nice to meet ya.

Yeah, he pretty much was. I was surprised he made it to the age of 63 with all the drinking and smoking and philandering he did. Of course, the cancer did him in eventually, but that was after years and years. Still, always hilarious.

But Jefferson...wow, what a guy. Can't say his views on slavery were the best, but for the time, they were considered progressive thinking. And damn, I'm still amazed whenever I think about him designing Monticello. I sure couldn't do something like that.

Jefferson really was ahead of his time in a lot of ways. I mean, the man was the father of the Republican Party. And Monticello is just amazing. Have you ever been there?

There have certainly been some weird presidents though. Andrew Jackson killed about a million people in the war, and Theodore Roosevelt kept a badger in the White House, so...

Sadly, I can't say I have. I've seen pictures, but I can imagine that it's just not the same as actually going there and seeing Monticello face to face.

Yeah, but without the weird tidbits, they'd be...well, boring. Even GWB, as dumb a man as he was, had some hilarity going for him.
