One: the fan translator, the only one one the team who spoke Japanese, was an absurdly young age. Either 16 or 14 years old.

Two: the post announcing they were stopping their translations sounded angry instead of regular "I'm taking a break for the sake of my schedule." I don't recall my post being singled out, but it was an angrier post than I was expecting.

Three: I literally just got there to say thanks for translating this silly manga, before a couple of days later they made the angry post telling everyone they weren't going to translate anymore.

A lot is lost to the passage of time and I didn't get to see enough of this fan translation group before it imploded, but to me, the timing of it all combined with the fact that the fan translator was literally immature made it a distinct possibility in my mind. I still don't know how to feel about it.
