I don't think that's true. There are different sets of privileges and disadvantages to being female or a POC that might be slightly improved if you're wealthy, but they don't go away entirely.

This! Even if your money shields you from a lot of the personal effects, you still exist in a world where you see people like you being devalued and harmed, and that takes a mental toll on people. And you will still see/hear some of what people say about you.

Like, Oprah's got more money than God and I don't waste my time sitting around feeling sorry for her, but there have been a lot of things I've heard people say about her that they wouldn't have said about a white man in her position. (admittedly, there are people who talk about the state of Pratt's weight, but I maintain there's a real difference in tone/focus)

There was a case in the news recently where a Black couple thought the appraised selling price on their house in an affluent neighborhood in CA was too low. So they decided to have a white friend pose as the seller. The appraisal went up by HALF A MILLION DOLLARS.

This kind of shit happens all the time. Obviously your life will be smoother sailing if you're rich, no shit. But if you're marginalized elsewhere, you still have to face BS that white cishet men don't, and it will affect you. It literally is a materially different experience.
