(Anonymous) 2009-03-15 08:48 am (UTC)(link)Who else uses those terms? I was curious and tried to find out what you were talking about, but web dictionaries list it as "partners in a D/s relationship", which falls under BDSM. And is also not what these people are looking for.
They also do use the terms with their BDSM meaning, they are convinced that they are BDSM submissive, and they just, well, aren't. Yes, there are grey zones and everybody can pick the label for their sexual identity freely, but some bare semblance of the original meaning might be encouraged, for the sake of understanding each other.
