(Anonymous) 2009-03-14 03:12 am (UTC)(link)136: I feel somewhat the same way. There's some people where I see their pictures and I'm like, "Oh." in kind of a surprised way. I feel bad because I know that they're good, nice people, but they probably won't be treated the way that they deserve to be.
146: There's nothing wrong with the kink meme being your fandom "community" at all. As someone who frequents both the kink meme and CR, I can see all of your points. I like CR mostly because there's people I enjoy talking to there. But, there are a lot of jackasses there as well. I just try to ignore them. The kink meme is just plain fun, and there is somewhat a camaraderie there, even though it is anonymous. Long story short... I agree with you?
