My family went abroad for a few months during the time in my schooling when kids at my school did D.A.R.E. and I came back just as the kids in my grade were wrapping up the program. I was given a pamphlet to look over then I took the same test as the rest of the class, passed, and got my certificate and T-shirt just like everyone else even though I'd missed basically the whole thing. What a joke.

Now, I've also never done recreational drugs, but I don't attribute that to that one time a cop handed me a D.A.R.E. pamphlet in 4th grade.
