That Korean adaptation sounds amazing.

I think the problem is sorta with the OG, in that because Julia and Vicious are so...static(?) in the OG, and what people were attached to was the found family, people felt Vicious and Julia's additional screentime was an imposition rather than a chance to make them less static. I'm not entirely sure I like all the Julia changes, but I'd prefer she have too much agency than not enough.

She's certainly... morally greyer, than the OG, heh.

Hmm. Not sure how I'd have broken the plot if she'd stayed missing for most of the story. (That episodic, mostly-unrelated-short stories structure of the OG vs. a ten-ep arc really changes things, sometimes.) I'd probably have kept the finale the Ballad of Falling Angels, though.
