118. Pokemon is just as much single player as it is multiplayer. Competitive battling just isn't for everybody.

There are plenty of explanations for that feeling: You relate to him (and what he's upset about) on a deep emotional level and he really really resonates with you, maybe because he represents, to you, some kind of ideal that's been externalized. I don't know. Do some soulsearching, you'll figure it out. I think in Dr. Horrible's case it's probably something along those lines.

What about the fact you can't fill your pokedex without at least some trading. Some of us can't afford two/three different versions.

That and the unobtainables are the reason I really don't feel bad about using a cheat device to catch those last few little monsters.

I had this absolutely epic cheat device from Pelican for Gold and Silver. All it did was edit Pokemon and possibly items.

You could magically transform a level two Hoothoot into a level 100 Mewtwo with a completely illegal set of moves - or, conversely, edit up a bunch of level 5 Legendaries and watch them grow with you throughout the game. Man, me and that baby Mewtwo had good times, and playing with illegal moves in Stadium 2 was awesome.

Yeah, but... You don't... really need to fill your pokedex to have fun, do you? There's tons of other stuff to do in the game, and the single player is perfectly fun as it is.

You said it. I mean, it's cool if that's what you want to do, but the amount of Serious Business in the fandom about it makes me a little loopy.
