I've got no beef with multiplayer fans, just the fact that us single-players tend to be the red-headed stepfans.

And hell yes SEE is awesome. :D I think it's the greatest crackfic I've ever seen, and crack authors need to at least watch the cutscenes. SSE is how you do crack right - equal parts funny, tearjerking, and, of course, AWESOME.

And yeah, Samus and Pikachu = LOVE. The best part is that it's perfectly in-character for Ms. Aran, too. :D

Oh, I've kinda given up on trying to get through the cave and just watched the cutscenes on Youtube XD For a bonus 1P thing on a fighter game, it's amazing!

I still reckon the best part is Link and Mario, dodging lasers to get to the Subspace bomb. The stars of the two most iconic Nintendo franchises ever. Working together. Dodging lasers. So brilliant it made it in to the SSBB opening. AWESOME :D

Yeah, that scene's great. :D I think I just like Samus and Pikachu's section because I know both characters really well, to be honest.

Oh, oh, and the "yeah shot" of Mario, Link, Pit, Yoshi, and Kirby as they come down to help Marth and company... just yesssssss. And damn if Peach's reaction to Fox and Shiek didn't make me laugh and gain a little appreciation for her non-Paper Mario personality.

...I think what I love about Smash as a series and SSBB in particular is that it's perfectly aware it's running on liquefied Nintendo fanservice. A story like SSE should not in a sane world have a Latin theme song, but it does. It's just about the silliest thing ever, but the story takes itself seriously enough that it loops around and also becomes just about the most AWESOME thing ever.

Oh, yeah. It's blatant, blatant fanservice and I LOVE it. Latin and all! SSE is what puts Brawl above all other fighting games, including my beloved Soul series (just about the only non-Nintendo thing I'll play, actually >.> ). And... Sonic! (The VERY FIRST video game I ever played was 8-bit Sonic The Hedgehog on the Sega MasterSystem II. I must have been about five.)
