It's even better since it's in-character for Samus - she may not squee, but she clearly has a soft spot for the helpless. :D

Also that's seriously the most badass Pikachu ever.

Yes you do. Samus is awesome. :D

Her universe is awesome, too, though I think Prime 3 made it feel a little small. Still, easily fanoned around. And the first Prime has a wonderful way to tell the story: Samus is all alone, and the story's told by reading the records of an ancient civilization and hacking into the badguys' records. The other two in the subtrilogy do it as well, but she has more support in those.

And man, nothing beats getting horribly, horribly lost, then figuring out what you need to do with an "ah-ha!" That's what Metroid's aaaall about. XD

Metroid's always felt like Zelda in space with far less NPC interaction to me. :) Which one did you play, out of curiosity?

...also squee Majora icon. MM doesn't get enough love, much like Navi. :(

I really couldn't tell you, sorry :( It was at least eight years ago, for ten minutes, at a friend's place. It was on a nice old SNES, I think.

Majora's Mask is LOVE. Also, nightmare fuel and copious doses of trauma, but mostly LOVE :D And heh - no matter how much I might yell at her during the game ("NO, target the bastard, you useless fairy! It's your sole job! TARGET!!" ...Jabu Jabu makes me kinda insane >.> ), I do have a soft spot for Navi ^_^ (And Ruto!)

That would be Super Metroid. :3 Only one they had for the SNES. I never got to play it back in the day, but it's been re-released on the Wii virtual console. It's a mean game that wants you to die horribly over and over again, but it's great fun. :D It's sort of the Link to the Past of the Metroid series - Metroid Prime is the equivalent to Ocarina of Time, complete with arguments in the fandom over which is better.

Haha, yes. Man, I just want to wrap poor li'l Link up in a blanket and feed him chocolate. :(

Ahh, right ^_^ Heh, sounds like... fun. (All I remember from it was that I kept dying! I... wasn't very good >.> )

It's friggin' sadistic! D: Electric enemies which you can't use the sword with and can only use sticks that keep BREAKING, horrible squishy stuff, the horror of knowing that you're inside the guts of a giant fish... ewww.
