I was pretty sure that they only cut out "Contact" which, while annoying, isn't horrible, but this secret makes me worried. I've been trying to convince my director to let another student and me direct it the student edition next year.

Is it entirely possible that her school cut it even more? And/or is just full of fail actors? I can imagine the roles of gay men and lesbians would be hard to cast in anything but a very liberal school... So much so that some teachers might cast a woman as Angel, or a man as Joanne, etc.

They did cut out Contact, but also almost all the swear words, almost every line with a sexual reference, and the gay couples are barely gay. Maureen and Joanne are told to "share some sign of affection" in La Vie Boheme, and that's about it.
I understand cutting some, but they went way too far.
