SPOILERS AHEAD.

Wow... what were the odds that a Blurr secret would be posted, after what happened on Transwarped this weekend...?

My problem was, by the time IT happened, I was really starting to like Blurr a lot. Moschitta did such a good job of adding character to him this time around. And he's still got one of the coolest designs ever.

There is always delicious fanon ;___; Okay so I'm in denial too. And I've been in denial about Swindle since last season, as well *cries*

He'd just become one of my favourites after the whole running-to-Cybertron epicness ;_____;

Swindle, I think, has half-a-chance of showing up again. He seems like the kind of bot who'd have a contingency for his contingency plan. And we didn't see anything happen to him, just heard the (excuriciatingly messed-up) things they planned to do to him.

Blurr...we had to watch. We saw the body...what was left of it (in what I'll consider one of the top ten most callous moments in kiddie-programing). I want to hold out hope, but I just don't think I can put myself that far in denial, and dangit, I keep thinking somehow or another, the Trickster (from Flash) will come back, so that's saying something.

As far as Swindle goes, I'm pretty sure I heard Fred Willard was coming back as a guest voice this season, so it sounds like they've got a way to bring him back, at least.

As far as Blurr goes, I still sort of blame Cliffjumper. For a guy whose rep is being uber paranoid about traitors, he should've said something, this time. =p

He freaking ran on the rings of a planet! Argh, how is that not the most awesome awesome-thing ever? I mean, I liked him from the get-go, but this time around, he got that level of annoying-snark and just...man, it wasn't even what happened, it was how it happened, and how sure I was that he'd look up at the last minute and see an open vent-shaft of something, but no, and we just had to watch it!

Agreed, I really liked what they did with Blurr's characterization in Animated. It would've been really cool to see him in action a bit more, especially if he got to use the Chainsaw of Doom that his toy has(can't remember, off hand, if he ever used it in more than a Speed Racer kinda way). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe comments about Blurr not showing back up this season are to throw fans off the scent, so to speak.

I also feel kinda bad, because I'm a HUGE fan of Shockwave, and I can't help but think, "You evil son of a glitch"... while at the same time thinking it's awesome to see him become a more credible threat. Then again, part of the reason I dug G1 Shockwave was there was a certain nobility to the character, and he always seemed to care about Cybertron itself as much as the Decepticon cause. Ani!Wave? Now so much.
