(Anonymous) 2009-03-16 03:00 am (UTC)(link)I'm not whining or crying about fandom. I'm saying that what ever happened to freely expressing one's opinion and if someone were to disagree to it, refute the opinion respectfully?
It's like there's a freakin' Gestapo in every fandom. The moment you say something negative, you get immediately flamed, criticized, whatever it is that they do.
I thought fandom was a place where you can meet other people or at least one person who shares your viewpoint. And yes, the batshit fans are kind of funny but at the same time, I wonder just how far is too far when it comes to fans beating other fans into submission just because they disagree?
